In the past three or four days, a significant amount of information has emerged regarding the abandonment and betrayal of the Kurds in Rojava, Syria. We believe the primary reason for this abandonment is the collaboration between Turkish terrorists, ISIS, and Syrian militants, who have presented Israel and the U.S. with a force to combat the Shia militants in Iraq, with the potential for future support against Iran as well.
New information has surfaced indicating that the U.S. requested assistance from the Kurds in combating the Shia militants in Iraq, but the Kurds declined. This refusal led the U.S. to turn to the terrorists from Turkey, Syria, and ISIS. Moreover, they are no longer concealing these developments, as the transfer of ISIS fighters from Syria to Iraq has already begun.

What Happens To Rojava Now?
There is no clear answer regarding what will unfold. If the U.S. has given Turkey the green light, a full-scale genocide could occur, with news outlets eventually taking notice, much like what happened in Afrin. However, as of January 23, 2026, Syrian terrorists have not yet entered any predominantly Kurdish areas in Rojava, so we will have to wait and see what transpires in the coming days.
The best hope for Rojava at this point is that the deal excludes the predominantly Kurdish areas and focuses solely on the majority Arab regions. Additionally, there is hope that the Syrian terrorists will engage in conflict with the Shia terrorists in Iraq, resulting in heavy losses for both sides. Ultimately, it is hoped that this could lead to a unification of Rojava and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
